Vision & Values

Our Mission

Our mission is simply Matthew 28:19-20 (The Great Commission):

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

Our Vision:

We exist to reach the lost and teach the saved.

Our Values:

CORE VALUE #1:
LOVED PEOPLE LOVE UNCONDITIONALLY

We believe love never fails.  Genuine love has no contingencies or ulterior motives.  In ministry, marriage, and family, love is the essence and essentiality of our existence.

CORE VALUE #2:
ACCEPTED PEOPLE ACCEPT PEOPLE

We firmly believe that acceptance precedes change.  You can’t be changed until you are accepted.  Sinful people don’t have to change before they are accepted.  Jesus doesn’t turn us away so we don’t turn others away either.

CORE VALUE #3:
SAVED PEOPLE SERVE PEOPLE

The world will change when we begin to serve others with no strings attached.  Jesus changed the lives of people because he had a servant mentality instead of an entitlement mentality.  We believe contribution supersedes consumerism.

CORE VALUE #4:
GOOD NEWS IS THE ONLY NEWS

The gospel of grace is the Good News.  We emphasize the work of Jesus way more than our works.  We can defeat sin because all sin is forgiven.  The more we talk about Jesus, freedom occurs, but the more we talk about ourselves, failure occurs.  No other message will be tolerated.

Our mission is found in Matthew 28: 18-20
Everything we do hinges upon these values we hold onto so dearly.  We all have different abilities, gifts, and talents.  With a rich diversity, we present Jesus to be the perfect Example, Savior, Lord, and Friend to a world that needs hope.

Our beliefs and our statement of faith are summed up in the Apostles’ Creed:

I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to hell.
The third day He rose again from the dead;
He ascended to heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father, almighty.
From there He will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy Christian Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.
